Morning game drive safari in Lake Manyara Park. The park is home to colorful birds, elephants, zebras,giraffe, hippos, antelopes and other animals.
Alternative (instead of game drive safari in Manyara): After breakfast, we drive to nearby Mto wa Mbu area (4+ miles from Manyara Park’s gate) to do an approximately two hour cultural tour which will include visiting banana or rice plantations as well as a walking safari with traditional healers who will explain the medicinal values of the indigenous plants. We will drive back to Arusha and proceed Airport Planet Lodge where we will stop to freshen up before proceeding to the airport for your evening/night flight back home.
